Andrew works for Plymouth City as a Chartered Surveyor both managing their commercial property assets, and working with Community Groups to encourage creative engagement with the Natural Infrastructure of the City.
He helped set up and run both Gaia House Buddhist Retreat Centre in Devon England and Dharmagiri Buddhist Hermitage in the Drakensberg Mountains of Kwa Zulu Natal South Africa.
Andrew is a long-term student of Venerable Dhyani Ywahoo, 27th Generation Lineage holder of teachings of the Ani Yun Wiwa of the Eastern Cherokee.
In April 2019, Andrew had the privilege of visiting Domboshava, staying in Mandere Village, studying mbira, tradition dance, and engaging in deep ceremonial practices on and in relationship with the spirits of the land. It was during this time Andrew was deeply inspired to support Trees of Hope, and it is such a profound delight for him to be nominated as its Treasurer.
